If any Customer requests help on anything related to their own installations, custom configurations or needs client-side work and troubleshooting of any standards-based Open Source applications included in the Softaculous Software library, HCE Support team can provide "Managed Service", charged at €45/hour or any other ad-hoc rate, agreed with the customer. Our long term customers as well as customer who sign up for 2-year or 3-year subscriptions, are usually granted a better terms of the ad-hoc Managed services. The reason for that is simple - we appreciate their commitment!
HCE does not work on any client-side installations, do not manage or troubleshoot any non server-side issues. Please note that it is not our obligation to do any work on the Customer's Web Hosting Account (inside the Virtual Hosting Account) and to resolve issues, that can be managed by the Customer irself inside the cPanel Domain Owner control panel interface, through SSH (if activated), FTP or any other standard application compatible with the L.A.M.P./CentOS/CloudLinux/cPanel based server environment.
Please also note that HCE Technical Support does not have an obligation to work on Customers' Web Hosting Accounts and installations, as well as on any HTML, scripting, databases and any development code and to fix, debug or support 3rd party applications, unless the Customer requested and paid for a Managed Service.
As a part of the "Self-Managed Web Hosting" services, we do not provide support on any proprietary software and 3rd party applications or programming code, unless the Customer authorized us to do so, after the purchase of the appropriate Management Service.
HCE Technical Support and "Managed Website" specialists also do not code, fix issues and bugs which are part of the core functionality of any software applications, used by our customers. We also do not code and do not develop modules for software applications. However, we might organize the order and manage the provisioning, and installation of any modules and apps on behalf our customers.
Yes, no worries on that! Any customer who has signed for "Self-Managed Web Hosting" is eligible to upgrade their account to "Managed Websites" at any time during the subscription term. If an upgrade to "Managed Websites" is requested, we will change the current "Self Managed Web Hosting" contract into a month to month, 12-month, 24-month or 36 month "Managed Websites" contract, based on the Customer's requirements.
